To assist in preparation of a budget relative to the school transportation program.
To inspect and assume responsibility for the efficient and safe operation of the transportation program.
Establish route schedules that meet code requirements.
To assist in preparation of specifications for purchase of equipment and supplies.
To approve bills for work done and materials received.
To keep transportation equipment and bus barns clean and in good repair.
To establish daily, monthly, and annual inspection schedules for all vehicles.
To recommend administrative rules and regulations to the superintendent.
To keep records on each and every vehicle.
Establish positive relationships and communication with the parents, students and the public.
All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Superintendent or Board of Education.
