What You'll Get To Doo Oversee the day-to-day operation of the raw mill and finish grinding millso Review and analyze operational data to evaluate and recommend changes for more efficient and continuous operationo Lead daily consultation with the Kiln Engineer and Shift Supervisors to discuss and evaluate mill performance and the resulting impact on overall productiono Facilitate operational approach to ensure production goals are met daily including attention to product inventoryo Coordinate with the Kiln Engineer to utilize the production staff to meet goals within the milling area, interact directly with the Production Supervisors when assigning priorities to ensure the success of the Milling Departmento Participate in formal Continuous Improvement Program initiatives, investigate production issues/events, and develop SPSs as a solution for future failures within the Milling Departmento Advise Management and Operations Staff of necessary adjustments and changes to protocols to minimize future incidentso Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mill and grinding systemso Strict attention to maintaining the quality of the product and working directly with the lab supervision to generate and execute protocols that protect the consistency and overall quality of our producto Participate in the Department call scheduleo Ensure procedures and employee actions comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and proceduresWhat We Are Looking Foro Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Mining engineering would be preferred but not requiredo Prior manufacturing exposure and automation experience are a pluso Willingness to travel to other locations during the training programo Strong communication skills, both oral and writteno Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment with 24-hour operationsWhat We Offero Competitive base salary and participation in our annual incentive plano Highly competitive benefits programso 401k retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributionsEmployer Statement:
