Job DescriptionHagie Manufacturing is seeking a qualified candidate to be part of our Quality team as a Quality Technician in Clarion, IA.
This position will inspect components and assemblies, resolve Quality Tickets, perform tool calibration, support Hagie Internal Quality processes.
This position reports directly to the Quality Supervisor.

Inspect material and products for acceptance using visual, feature and non-feature specific checks.
Proactively look for root cause of Non-Conformances & communicate to stake holders to ensure timely resolution.
Create and manage process documents, reports, and communications using Microsoft Office suite.
Work with cross-functional teams across manufacturing, operations, supply chain, product support, and design.
Use computer software to review Engineering Changes, bill of material structure and product component drawings to execute daily tasks.
Communicate effectively to get to problem resolution.
Proactive Engagement with overall Continuous Improvement activities Maintain tool calibration and documentation for area of responsibility, within the established timeframes.
Use basic and complex measuring methods to measure parts for conformity.
Basic understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
Qualifications Ability to communicate effectively through written, verbal and electronic communication methods.
Ability to interpret blueprints/work instructions to determine design intent.
Ability to read schematics and use to troubleshoot machine issues.
Manufacturing work experience.
Microsoft Office - specifically Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Data Analysis, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Detail oriented Driven to serve internal and external customers.
Must have the ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
Experience with welding, metal fabrication, paint highly desired.
Hours flex based on the production schedule and coverage needed, including Saturdays as needed.

Knowledge of Hagie systems and processes- INFOR/Windchill/Creo, change control, etc.
Experience with reading/understanding drawings and schematics.

Experience and understanding of usage of quality tools- root cause analysis, 5 why, etc.
